Coconut drinks are a nice reminder that Summer is out there somewhere, even during Winter. But if you can’t travel to paradise, why not bring paradise to you? With coconut drinks as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's main flavor in the Winter of 2018, I proposed the seasonal concept, “Escape Winter”. We used elements like palm leaves and fresh coconuts to put our guests in a tropical vacation mindset. So even though it was Winter, paradise was closer than they thought.
I currently work as a Graphic Designer at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Corporate Office in Los Angeles. My role is to develop, maintain, and evolve the visual aesthetic of the brand across multiple creative executions including in-store signage and POP, advertising, events, packaging and digital media for the US and International markets. I work to translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are compelling, visually appealing, and easily understood by guests.
During my time at Hotel Emporium, I worked to create innovative designs in the competitive business of hotel amenities while leading the design team to ensure customer focused and cost effective proposals under tight deadlines.
This retro style app design was inspired by the classic, recognizable shape of a guitar pick.
